1. License Grant
Deckmate grants the user a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to use the Deckmate add-in on a per-user basis. This license is subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this document.

2. Subscription and Payment
Deckmate offers subscriptions on a monthly and annual basis, including a 30-day trial period. We accept payments via credit card, PayPal, and specified banks. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless the user cancels at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Given the provision of a 30-day trial period, Deckmate does not offer refunds. Users are encouraged to evaluate the add-in during the trial period.

Users receive 50 premium Flaticon icon downloads each month, which can be increased when users indicate via e-mail they need more downloads. This is to prevent misuse of icon downloads.

3. User Responsibilities
Users must use Deckmate in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Users agree to indemnify Deckmate against any claims arising from misuse, illegal use, or claims of copyright infringement. Users must not attempt to reverse engineer, distribute, or modify the add-in.

4. Intellectual Property
Deckmate and its components, including templates and icons, are protected by copyright and are the property of Deckmate or its licensors. User agrees to not copy, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code of, decrypt, modify, and / or create derivative works of Deckmate and it's functionalities. Any attempt to do so is a violation of this license agreement. Usage of icons from Flaticon and images from Pexels and Unsplash are subject to their respective terms and conditions. ​

5. Privacy Policy
Deckmate’s use of personal data is governed by our separate Privacy Policy, which users should review.

6. Support and Updates
Deckmate provides automatic software updates and email support to users. While we aim for timely support, response times may vary.

7. Termination
Deckmate reserves the right to terminate or suspend user licenses for breach of these terms and conditions, including unauthorized use or distribution of the add-in.

8. Limitation of Liability
Deckmate is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Deckmate shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the add-in. This includes, but is not limited to, data loss, financial loss, or system crashes.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Barcelona, Spain. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona, Spain.

10. Amendments
Deckmate reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Users will be notified of any changes via email at least 30 days prior to the changes taking effect.

11. Severability
If any provision of these terms is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

12. Force Majeure
Deckmate shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from any cause beyond Deckmate's reasonable control, including, but not limited to, mechanical, electronic, or communications failure or degradation, acts of God, war, terrorism, pandemic, or government restrictions.

13. Acknowledgement
By using Deckmate, users acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must cease use of Deckmate immediately.
